Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is a bit dated and the rooms were in the annex, not as nice as pictured, but the view was great. There were some nice extras at an extra cost, like a feature room, a drink, and complimentary fruit, though it was slightly inconvenient due to my wife's walking difficulty. Service was exceptional, especially at the reception desk with Betty and Marianna providing excellent service during breakfast. The location is nice, with good parking and a beautiful area to relax. The dining experience was lacking, with limited choices and being a bit understaffed. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel met our last-minute booking needs perfectly.
The hotel had a charming location with beautiful walks down to the canal and country pubs. The rooms were in need of a thorough clean and were not as advertised, overlooking a disappointing view instead of the garden or fields. The service was a mix of pleasant and unpleasant encounters. The dining experience fell short with long waits and subpar quality. The facilities were average with room for improvement.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfy, clean, and well-decorated, but being in a separate building from the original hotel made it inconvenient, especially in the pouring rain. The service was a bit hit-or-miss; some staff members were accommodating and friendly, but others were completely unhelpful. The location was nice for walking around and sitting in the sunshine, but not having a car made it less convenient. The dining experience was excellent with tasty options, though some dishes were overcooked. Overall, it was a decent stay with its ups and downs.
